Once you have passed your MN Driving Exam, you will receive your provisional license. With a provisional license, you are not allowed to drive between 12 AM and 5 AM unless you are accompanied by a licensed driver who is 25 years old or older. You will also only be allowed one passenger who is under 21 during the first few months after you have receive your license. The exception to this rule is if you are driving family members. If you maintain a good driving record and follow these stipulations, you will receive a regular D license, which has no limitations.
